This still seems pricey. Anyone have knowledge on previous deals to compare?

I might be thinking that of the compressor/nailer sets on BF for $200 though. These are battery powered.

This seems to be a good price for this kit. Normal sale price looks to be $259~269 for the 2 tools, battery and charger kit.

It's not a bad price, this is the same price I paid last year around this time. I had to return the first set I bought as the 18g nailer just up and quit on me the second time I used it, and as it's bought in a kit, you can't just return the defective unit, you have to return them both. After the return, the second set has been working nicely. Made applying new trim boards to all the doors and floors in the house much easier. And I LOVE not having to move a compressor or hoses.

18 gauge is on sale for 99 plus if you have a coupon you can get it lower

It's a decent price. The tools alone are $189 & $99, so you are saving $40 getting a free battery + charger out of it.

I agree. Even if you bought factory blemished 18 gauge @ $70 and 16 gauge @ $90 throw in a charger @ $40 and a 1.5 amp battery at $40 you're at $240. Seems like a fairly good deal for new equipment. On the other hand If you have battery and charger or only need one tool then maybe not so much.
