Bought 2 of these on Friday when I was instore. Used one this weekend to cut my christmas tree down Smilie. Great set. Was by far the best bang for your buck at the store. Other sets with less pieces were $30+

Thanks.... bought one. Recently got a Milwaukee Sawzall and used cheap HF blades. They would bind and make the sawzall move instead.

are these specific to a particular brand? we bought a dewalt saw a while back and it didnt come with any blades. can we use these blades or do we have to use the ones from that company specifically?

Decent quality blades. Was going to say the case for these is great too but it looks like they changed the design... still probably a decent case though.

Blade wise I think the only way you can do better is by throwing a bunch of money at Diablo carbide blades.. but they're closer to $14.97 each than $14.97 for 20

Reciprocating saw blades are universal, generally speaking (there may be a few saws out there that use a proprietary blade, but you should be able to use just about any blade with just about any saw)

You should be able to use these blades with your dewalt. These fit standard recipcroating saws.

It's most likely caused by cutting technique rather than the blade if HF wood blade used was new.
