Awesome post, I usually never get to the store in time to get such a selection and it's usually much more expensive.

Agreed. They should call it a "travel gift set." Oh wait . . .

Always tempted to buy into the hype but even $6 for less than 3 oz. of moisturizing product just seems ridiculous. Is this stuff that luxurious or does one application last a week or something and is not washed off by showering? Seems like it would only be good for 1-2 applications to your hands and feet only. More for the lip balm obviously. Yes I'm being facetious.

Burts Bees is def luxurious and a premium brand. However I recently started using hand lotion and the Burts bees is def worth the money. 100x better IMO.

To further clarify the previous response to your query, the full sized versions of Burt's Bees products on sale are definitely good products and good value.
These travel sizes are meant for exactly that: travel. Typically, the extra cost is for the convenience. If someone prefers to carry the larger sizes while traveling, that's their choice.

Another purpose for a travel kit is it works as a "trial" kit. Try before you spring for the full sizes.

Alright, you convinced me. Going with the 5-piece travel set. Could even use it for the Christmas "sock exchange" at work where your only supposed to spend $10-$15 (including the holiday socks you put it in). Maybe I should get 2 so I have one to try?
