I am going to paste the same comment I pasted on a different magnet deal. These are not for kids and no one should be advertising them as such

There was an investigation by the wall street journal a few months ago which found Amazon basically selling thousands of products found unsafe by federal agencies through its third party seller program, magnetic toys being one such. One reason I'm staying far away from buying toys from brands on Amazon that are also not being sold at Target or Walmart.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/amaz...1566564957

"Last December, Jennifer White of Appleton, Wis., received Imden Magnetic Blocks for her 4-year-old son as a gift. Her son was rushed to the hospital after the toy broke and he ingested some magnets, Ms. White said. The magnetic toy set was purchased on Amazon, which removed the product after it became aware of the incident. A company called Shenzhen asos E-Commerce Ltd., which says it is the owner of the Imden brand, declined to comment.

The worst part? The Imden-branded product was listed right next to industry-leading brands like Magformers and Magnatiles, which meet U.S. safety standards. Amazon's website and app make it difficult to distinguish the legitimate from the illegitimate"

From a different article:

"A persistent problem for Amazon has been magnetic toys. Amazon and other big retailers banned sets of high-powered magnetic balls and cubes in 2012 after reports of thousands of children ending up hospitalized for swallowing them. Inside the body, the magnets can snap together and rupture abdominal tissue. The Consumer Product Safety Commission, or CPSC, has called them a "substantial product hazard." Retailers still selling them generally allow them on store shelves only when marketed for adults"

I've purchase magformer's( 30pc set) and after we decide that we need more blocks for building a castle but we have decide to purchase similar blocks but not original magformers as to much money for 30pc( 40$) and I can tell you that there is no different. Before to buy check the size of the blocks as our ones was fully compatible with magformer's.
In my opinion all blocks are dangerous and your child should play under adult supervision only.
Big brands have always double price.
