I like them better than the sardines. They have a milder flavor. Thanks for adding the detail about water — I'll update the listing.

Yes, reviews say the sardines are stronger flavored. I've only had anchovies on pizza etc.and these are not as salty as per the reviews. I also learned from the reviews that the way to know if extra virgin olive oil is real is to put it in the refrigerator and if it solidifies, then it is real! bulb Never knew that, and so ez too! bounce

Read the reviews carefully. I was going to get some of this brand from amazon and canceled. A lot of the reviews said the store bought wild planet was fine but the amazon supplied product looked like a reddish rust was in the cans and the taste was off.
