Lol. Upvoted.

On a real note I wonder if we could buy these and donate it to hong kong? I'm pretty sympathetic to their cause
Me too! I would gladly buy a few helmets and goggles to protect those fighting for their freedom if I knew of some way to safely get them to those who need them.

You pay fine for littering in Hong Kong and they are throwing petrol bomb around the city, burning people alive and throwing brick at someone and he died. sympathy for whom?
Sympathy for the good people of Hong Kong fighting the CCP.

do you need a helmet if you are riding beginner slopes on a snowboard? or is just a winter beanie type hat fine?
Yes, I would say definitely. Do as I say, not as I did...I didn't wear a helmet for the last 20 years of skiing/boarding, but I realize now I was taking a huge risk and quite frankly was acting foolishly for not wearing one. Even had more than a couple really close calls where it was only some miracle I didn't become paralyzed or worse. Now that I'm in my 30's I really can't afford to act recklessly anymore 😂

I'm not saying what China did is right. What I'm saying is these protestor went overboard. They became murders, rioters and they are burning the city that their parents build.
I'm glad you mentioned that, because their parents, and THEIR parents all agree with the protesting. The elderly are advocating for and supporting all of the active protestors.

The local elections from the hong kong people kicking out the Chinese party and voting in the pro-democracy party into 90%(!!!) of office is simply proof of the word of the people.

The so-called murders and rioters that you mention pale in comparison to the kind of violence that the police and CPP agents are propagating right now including - as I mentioned before - war crimes.

You can't even begin to compare the two and say that HK is in the wrong here.

Look up evo.com. They have some good deals today. I picked up an Oakley Mod 3.

Canceled my order and got the same one from Oakley store.

I know, right... this is a deal site FFS. Had to sort thought so much crap just to see if there are any good snowboarding helmet deals.

I was looking for Oakley Mod 3, evo.com has some good deals. However, Oakley has 50% off today. If you're able to find your size and color, go the Oakley route.

If you dont buy a helmet, make sure to rent one.

Anyone know if any of those goggles are big enough to accommodate someone wearing glasses underneath?

Almost forgot-be sure to click on the VIP Pricing Logo on the homepage before you shop to add discounts to everything in their online store (drops Camber to $76, etc.)

Picked one up from Costco for $60 that has MIPS. Is this tech worth a premium or is it marketing BS?

Yes! Beginners fall a lot uncontrollably.

I've been fine on bunny slopes with just beanie and shades, but if you plan on snowboarding in the future, you might as well buy the helmet now and use it.
