We had this set since last year....maybe just a fluke, but the outer "coating" melted onto a spot on our glass cooktop. Just using the small pot as normal, its not like it was empty or anything.

Let it cool off (the pot was basically fused to the cooktop for a few minutes), then when we gently lifted the pot off it put 3 or 4 chips in the cooktop glass.

So, we will never buy a Rachel Ray piece again. Went to hard-anodized aluminum for non-stick.

Looks like a crappy set. Only rated for 350 degrees and not dishwasher safe?

You should include the price ESPECIALLY since they do the frustrating "add to cart to see price". I so hate that.

But but....it's Rachel ray. She is a popular goddess amongst chefs and therefore her products must be the best value on the market. 😂
Reminds me of the Youtube 'Tasty' channel. Before they had their crappy Walmart line of cookware, they used cast iron a lot and other decent quality items to cook..... now nothing but their low quality overpriced merch is anywhere to be seen used on their channel...and people actually buy it just on name recognition. Like a wise businessman once said: Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of people.

Now I bought a set of hers something like this set here years ago but it was orange on the handles and the paint job and now I see its got a new color blue and I definitely should have saved my money. Def low quality and she should be ashamed of herself pushing this off onto cyber Mondays she could have had least gave us something from her higher value pots cause I know shes not cooking with these on her show and prob never has just a check for her and i hate when they just sign off on stuff just to get a check and buy them at your own risk a year out and you will be lucky if u have spot of blue and the handles on them.

These are trash. We had a set in yellow color and the oil stains are impossible to remove on the outside. If there is slight grease or oil on the outside and you put the pan on flame with the oil by any chance, it fuses to the color coating and forms a dark stain that will never go away. Your pans will look like crap within no time if you use these everyday. We had to throw away most of our daily used pans from this set in about 3 months because the outside was embarrassing to use. Switched to the hard anodized set from Costco and they are rocking for almost 2 years now with everyday abuse.

If you're just starting out and have no pans then I guess this is ok. You're really better off spending a little more the first time. We just threw out a crappy set like this and replaced it with the Kirkland set. Night and day difference.

If she does use these on her show, they probably trash it after each taping or something.

Bought this set a few years ago and it has held up surprisingly well. Nonstick coating works well and haven't had any issues using it on my electric flat top. They say they are dishwasher safe but I always hand wash them which may help with the longevity. The outside of them are stained from use but that doesn't bother me because cooking isn't affected by it at all. They may not look sparkling but they do a good job. I'm happy with the purchase.

I dishwash mine and the color fades because of it. Mine didnt say dishwasher safe on the box but they look exactly the same. Non-stick coating is still there for 99% after 2 year usage. Mostly because i scratched them up.
