I know there is only a very small percentage of people who are looking for a flail mower for their tractor right now, but there was at least one, me lol.

Anyway, Bestco has their 48″ Heavy Duty Flail Mower, model FH-EFGC125 for $1903 on sale for $1174, use coupon " blackweekend" for an additional 15% off Total was $998.21 with free shipping

https://betstco.com/product/fh-efgc125/

That's cheaper than there medium and light duty mowers. comes with hammer blades and rated for branches up to 3". Its not a standalone unit, you need a 22hp or greater tractor already.
I chose this over a rotary mower/cutter (bush hog, land pride, countyline etc) due to its size and for my purpose, it should work better for clearing my property of fallen branches, vines and palmettos.
Reviews on amazon and ebay are pretty good, better than other cheap brands like tractor supply county line.

A really good find. My PTO is only 15hp or else I'd be in.

This morning Betstco (what an odd name, not Bestco as I thought it was) is probably wondering why their site is getting more than usual traffic, In particular the flail mower. Head scratchier for them Smilie

Hydraulic offset option another $541? What are they drinking, every dummy knows the hydraulic offset option should run you no more than $347. Duh.

I bought mine with that option a couple months ago. Unfortunately the PTO shaft they sent is barely long enough to operate the mower in the shortest position. I haven't followed up again to get something done about it.

I can tell you that the hydraulic option hitch fits my quick hitch perfectly though. I don't think the non hydraulic option hitch is able to be attached to the quick hitch.

Wow a tractor deal! Keep in mind that you have to change a lot of flails for these and it's more maintenance than a rotary cutter. Most homeowners go with rotary cutters instead.

And if none of that makes sense to you this is not the product for you.
