Tip: don't throw away after soaking your metal parts. Pour remainder through a coffee filter, save and reuse.

Can this stuff be used as the first step of a complete car restore process? Rust remover, then wash, then clay, then polish, then wax?

For body work, you'll need to get down to bare metal with sanding disc, possibly a rust inhibitor, then use body filler or a filler primer. This stuff is for soaking (hours).

You should post that in a review on Amazon, and everywhere else for that matter. I just dealt with this company directly, and their number one goal in the discussion was to ensure that I was using as much of their product as possible. It was really unbelievable. They would cringe if people widely knew how to re-use their product, or make it last longer.

Of course they want to sell as much product as possible.. but, uh, you realize the label & product descriptions claim the product is reusable, right?
