Hate mine. The beep itself is more than enough to return it. Don't want to wake up my neighbors in the morning, nor my baby. It's that loud. And there is no option to disable it. Amazon wouldn't let me review it since it has unusual review activity. I read the reviews to check if I was the only one. Turns out there are a ton of folks in the same boat.

Wish this had native integration/support with SmartThings. I think the best thing for that is probably the GoControl/Linear one, which isn't on sale currently Frown

With all the firesales on this lately what is the risk that they shut down their cloud? Between the hardware cost, device support, and cloud costs there can't be any profit left. Or they think people will pay the subscription?

Disable it the old fashion way. Open and cut the speaker wire or tape the holes where the sounds come out.

What causes it to beep?

It's a safety feature all smart garage doors have to beep when the door is closed remotely through the app.

It's to warn people that are near the door that it's closing. Prob a liability thing.

I purchased 2 of these this week since I have two garage doors. Is it better do one hub with both our just one for each door. Reading comments in another thread it kind of sounded like when you pair two to one, it becomes permanent. Making the extra hub unusable with existing devices if your first hub were to stop working.

It was somehow a pain in the butt to set up and pair with my garage door. Not sure why, but it was. The low battery sensor never goes off despite replacing the battery. I assume that is related to it being cold out.

That said, it is worth $20.

This review makes it appear as if there IS an on-going subscription for use with common IOT providers. I am passing on it.

Returned mine. Says the door is open when it's not several times per week.

The reviews are iffy. Do you have pay to use IFTTT and google? how about Alexa?
Yes. I like the product but refuse to pay for the ability to speak.
