I had two of these. One for 5+ years and second for 2+. Worked very well. These are older models, but well built. Adequate supply of warm water and good pressure. No LED light !

After tax and shipping its about 300. Worth spending another $100 for the bb-2000?

This is a really good deal. I've had it on my wishlist for a bathroom remodel for 6 months. $499 on Amazon right now.

people really seem to like the bb1000 for the pressure it has compared to other models.

no first hand experience, just seem to come across people praising the bb1000 for having lots of pressure.

Can't speak to this unit but I own two 6800s and a more expensive Toto I bought this year. I'd go for the 6800 if I were you. It's a very solid unit but I had some water leakage issues with my first one, which luckily went right back to Costco for a full refund. The replacement has worked like a champ, so much so that I added a second until I went with a Toto for bathroom #3. If I had it to do all over, I'd have the 6800 all around, but only from Costco in case I have warranty issues.

Thank you.
I'm using toto at my office and it's fantastic with heated seat and dryer. Since then kids and wife wants it installed at home. New one will be 700+labour so cheaper to go this way but needed someone's first hand experience with product here.
