Is $15/TB considered a deal now? Especially this time of year? Seems this price has been around for a bit now.
Maybe if you can combine with Samsung Pay or Amex deal it might be a bit better...

Definitely not a *bad* price, but I expect you'll see something better in the next 24 hours.

I was lucky enough to get the 10TB Seagate Hubs at Staples for $120 a piece. They have Barracuda Pro PMR 7200 drives inside.

The mystery of the WD white label drives inside these are interesting reading:

Seems a lot more variance in what you will find in here, but most definitely 5400 RPM.

Agree with all this. I also just set up my 2x Staples Seagate 10tb tonight and it's a ST10000DM0004 (Barracuda). That's going to be the type of deal I look for going forward. Wish I had bought more than two....

I have 8TB version. Does this 12TB one have the same specs? Not 8TB vs 12TB, I mean 5400 rpm, 256M cache TLDR supported?

Apologies if OT.
Any idea if NewEgg PMs? I realized I have NewEgg GCs that I haven't used in a long time.

Same here. Purchased through google and status hasn't changed from processing.

UPDATE: Finally the status has changed to shipping.

Depends on what's inside. If you get a WD120EMFZ like I did, it has a 512M cache size, whereas some receive WD120EMAZ, which is the 256M cache.

Apparently the helium drives run hotter. Both of my 12tb run much hotter than my old 6tb my books.
