Warning to those who have IOT devices that only run on 2.4ghz band. It is a pain in the ass to connect them to this mesh system. Orbi combines the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands into a single ssid with no way to separate them.

This needs more love! Thank you OP for sending this info. If you have any unused credit card promo (esp the 20% credit using Amex/Discover points) you will get this at about $150+tax, This is brand new, all other expired deals a couple of days ago were from Amazon Warehouse for used/open box, which would be a hit or miss based on my prior exp with Amazon warehouse. I bought one with extensive lists of promo I had on my account(amazon assitant credit, promo from buying amazon gift card etc).

The main difference is the RBK23 satellites have 2 Lan ports for wired connections. If you have no use for these, go with the RBK33.

Thoughts about Costco's RB53 for $300? I have a nighthawk R7800 and it's serving me well. I'd like more range though.

But I'm not sure the it's worth the "upgrade." Since AC 2600 vs AC3000.

I'm most likely going to wait for AX or WiFi6 to upgrade.

Upgrade cause the Orbis are tri band.

Upgrade cause dual band Velops are the biggest piece of garbage ever. Tri band are a top 3 system but they are made completely different, so you mixed and matched something really good with trash. So either get more Triband Velops or stop using your dual band velops and see if your reliability increases.
