I use the biz version of this and the regular, home version. Both products work great. Orbis got off to a rocky start, but subsequent firmware updates have made the brand reliable imo
It was definitely a rocky start when they came out. I have the RBK 50 and I would never look back. One of the best routers I have ever used. The setup is seemless and the coverage is fantastic.
Upgrade cause dual band Velops are the biggest piece of garbage ever. Tri band are a top 3 system but they are made completely different, so you mixed and matched something really good with trash. So either get more Triband Velops or stop using your dual band velops and see if your reliability increases.
Thanks - the two nodes that drop are the dual band. Walmart sold the three units as a bundle - I may look on ebay for more tri-bands and sell my dual bands on there instead.

Came from RT-AC68U after 5 yrs
Yes I just got the big brother and it makes a lot different. Only thing I disklike is I can't set the time frame for my kids to use their iPad. I have to manually switch on and off.
These are not "Tri-Band", RBK23 and RBK33 are dual-band, both are the same with minor cosmetic difference. The tri-band is RBK50 class, which holds the benchmark record.
I have the RBK23 system. It's worth the money at this price. I tried out a few and finally settled on this setup. The tri band seemed to make the difference as the other brands didn't have that. Would love to get one more satellite, but just one costs almost as much as this bundle.

According to the official page on Netgear's site, both the RBK23 and RBK33 are tri-band. Scroll down to the Tech Specs section. The packaging also lists "Tri-band".
