Good price, we paid $198 for the special edition. The Frother lid will develop hairline cracks over time. Just make sure you call and have them send you a new lid before the 1 yr warranty is up.

Color is different? From the description: SPECIAL EDITION: Complement your kitchen with the premium nickel colored finish, metal handle and drip tray

Thank you for your reply.

I recently got the Kcup model from Costco and think will stay with that for just the option for hot water and also has option for cold coffee.

I will say, bought this at Costco and overall happy with it. Needed to replace the Rivo machine that stopped working. Froths better than that one, but the Rivo def makes a better cup of espresso. We did need to make several cups of coffee until (I don't really know how to describe this) a plastic-y taste went away. Not sure if the lines were just too new or what.

FYI - different milks will yield different froth results. My wife uses almond milk and found that the Aldi and Kirkland brand do not froth, while others (whatever the other brand at Costco that is more expensive) do a great job.

I bought this from amazon warehouse "used-like new" for $75, around six months ago. Appeared to be brand new and in all original packaging when it arrived. Amazing machine, we love It. Frother works great with any type of milk we have used .
