I don't think you should do it I have the older model and it is great besides it being a ultra wide monitor and having to do MacGyver like tactics to get games to function properly
MacGyver like tactics? Literally every new and old game is fine. What issues are you having?

Sekio shadows die twice there's like a red tint every time All the black bars during the cutscenes editing hex files like in the Witcher 3 black bars and games like rage 2 I got a OCD

Haha, I might have to boot up Rage or Witcher to check it out.
For anyone wondering if this is worth the price, yes it is. I have a different brand but also IPS Gsync 100Hz+. I've had TN and QHD panels and the colors on the IPS are just more... vibrant and accurate. The contrast is better too. I would have to spend hours configuring the TN and QHD Nvidia settings to get the colors where I wanted them. With the IPS panel I didn't need to mess around with the display settings at all.
I bought this same monitor a few weeks ago (AW3420DW) for $1050 delivered from Dell when it originally went on "sale".
I have been using it daily since then and it has blown me away in comparison my old 720p desktop Acer monitor and 4k television I was gaming on when I wanted a nice display. The immersion factor in gaming is the biggest value add for me (on top of the actual display component), Something about 105 degrees field of view makes all the single player FPS games I play seem more realistic.
If I had the money to spend again I would spend it on this exact monitor.
Normally they do. However I just wrapped up a chat session with Dell support who informed me they've temporarily stopped price matching for Cyber Monday.
Bought a aw3418 for 649 from Newegg unopened. Think it's worth it to return and get this for 200 more?
I bought the same model used very good condition from Amazon for 512 total after tax. Arrived and has one stuck pixel and slight backlight bleed, talked to Amazon about it and they gave me another 25$ off. So under 490 for just one stuck pixel, yea I'll hold on to this.

Not for a limited time deal like Cyber Monday! Oh well, that's their loss and Amazon's gain!!
Isn't buying this a better option?

The LG 34GK950F-B is not even on sale and is $799 and just seems to be a superior monitor all around? Am I missing something?
