Going to keep this short, as it's late... was in the market for laptop memory and finally came across these prices for Crucial memory on Amazon's website. Other variants such as the 3000 also seem to be on sale, but the pertinent ones for me are what I've listed below

I personally opted for the Ballistix, but the regular memory seems like a good deal as well. This, based on Crucial reputation, price history from sources, and comparison to a bunch of other websites with the same part numbers.
