Got the 9700. After all rebates, cashback, portal payouts, should cost me about $60

I just bought 2. Anyone know if I have to fill out 2 separate rebates?

On another note, this is my 4th diamond clean (2 are gifts and 1 broke from me dropping it a few times) and this specific model does not come with a chargeable travel case. Just thought I'd throw that info out there.

Is this better than the Costco twinpack?

I'm done buying these expensive toothbrushes whether it's Oral-B or Sonicare. All the bells and whistle on these brushes that I never use or find useful. These day I just get the lowest end Sonicare and replace them every several years. They don't clean any worse than top of the line unit. My experience with the Sonicare line is that they break after warranty expires. Even the refurbished replacement have died shortly after.

People have commented in other Kohl's/Sonicare thread that rebates might not happen due to not being eligible on instant discount.
So I guess YMMV on the rebate. The Kohl's site does show both the rebate offer AND the 20% off coupon code on the same product page... so if you have the time you could probably contest it.

I've had many of the Sonicares over the last 20 years or so.

At least a few died, mostly within the warranty period, so call up Philips and they replace the handle.

Now one (out of a twin costco pack) died, and it's a few months past 2 years. Philips refused to do warranty replacement.
Not sure if I should just take one/both from the set to Costco? Any better way? If there is extended warranty from the Credit card should I try that? Looking for personal experiences in this regard..

Due to the rebate controversy, I ended up going with this deal instead.

Philips Sonicare 2 Series Plaque Control Dual Handle Electric Toothbrush
https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...d=27791762

Subtotal: $69.99
Free Standard Shipping $25 - $8.95
JACKPOT - $10.00
GOSHOP20 - $12.00
Shipping: FREE
Sub Total: $47

...and if they take the rebate, that will knock it down an additional $20

I used to buy 2 twin sets from costo, both of them broke after ~1.5 years, around the same time. Returned and bought another set, one of them same story. My wife uses the current model costco carries, not good. The metal head on the handle is different in shape between 9700 and the cheap one which now I try to avoid.

According to the legalese on the rebate it states "limit 2 mail-in rebates per model per household". And you must include proof of purchase. It also states that addresses with P.O. Boxes are not valid for this promotion. Otherwise, you should be able to buy two of each model with rebates per household and as long as you include your rebate form and proof of purchase you should absolutely get your rebate. I picked up 2 diamond cleans and one flexcare and should net 80$ in rebates making all three just under 200$

Never had a rebate denied and that includes two past Sonicare rebates from Khol's I had done. Going to my perfect record to the test. But I already know that I'll get the rebate back.

7% cashback, 5% Chase cashback, $25 rebate, and $30 Kohl's cash after $8 filler make it a good deal.

Use the attached fillable form with Acrobat.

This DiamondClean Doesnt have pressure sensor and BrushSync technology that $30 Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 offers. So basically you will get outdated toothbrush with nice cup charger.

I bought this toothbrush two years ago and have been using sonicare for 10+ years now. They work great but have recently made the switch to a cheaper $35 knockoff version of this on Amazon once my battery went bad.(has happened with every sonicare I've owned) In all honesty it feels completely identical in terms of build quality and usage and the battery lasts a good 10 days longer. Didn't ever think I'd dip away from sonicare but I'm glad I did. Just my 2 cents. This is still a good deal.

But the Kohl's black friday ad shows '$81.24 after $25 rebate'. See

https://slickdeals.net/f/13505320-kohl-s-black-friday-sonicare-diamondclean-classic-rechargeable-ele...

The rebate should be fine otherwise it is a false ad and Kohl's will be in trouble.
In trouble by who? I agree that not standing behind something you advertised is a sleazy practice but it happens all the time with zero consequence. Go in there and yell at them a little too loudly about how they'll be in trouble some time and my money is on you for the one that will be spending the night in jail. Now if your speed dial looks like this...
2) side chick 3) kid 4) wife/baby momma 5) bored attorney friend 6) really bored attorney friend 7) The DA 8) public pretender attorney friend 9) district Court judge friend...

Then you might have a chance of that bunk rebate case actually being heard but then it's still 50/50 at best

There are lawyers around for class actions and you don't even need to do anything. They can make price errors or whatever in their website and do not honor them. But it is not a good idea to put up an incorrect ad and not correct it before the event. I have seen many price errors and companies did not honor them. But I have never seen a company advertised incorrectly.

BTW, it is just a $25 rebate. I know that it is a deal website and everyone wants to save some money. I might be unhappy if they do not honer it. But by the end of the day, it is just $25, a piece of pizza. If you will be mad about not getting a free pizza, maybe you should not buy anything as not buying anything will save you a lot.
