Just make sure you understand that this is a one year subscription... After that you will have to pay for it again.

Which version should we be looking for instead?

I like the desktop version that you own it ( not the subscription model). Quick Books play a game and they stop support after 3 years. So realistically if you download your transactions they force you to buy a newer/current version every 3 years.
It is still more economical to buy the Desktop version (that you will own) and use it for 3 years.

This is the desktop version, but with a one year subscription to Enhanced Payroll, which is only by subscription. The main reason I use QuickBooks is for payroll, and this is a much cheaper way than auto renewing. Auto renewal for payroll is $400+, so I just buy the new version each year. Just have to call them and cancel your auto-renewal each year.

if you don't want payroll, just buy the regular desktop version, which is supported for three years.

Doing payroll on your own is a risky business. With all the regulatory changes and having to keep on top of filing dates, I'd rather pay a service like ADP to do it for me.

Hahaha doing payroll with QuickBooks is one of the easiest things I've done in my life. Software updates regularly to keep up with all regulatory changes.

I currently have payroll subscription that will expire in 6/2020. Will this help me extend it?

Just a couple questions. The enhanced payroll allows you to cut employee checks and paying payroll taxes? If so how many employee can you cut checks for?

For the desktop version is there a feature that would allow you to import transactions from your financial institutions just like the online subscription do

Thanks.

You wouldn't use boost mobile for your business phone, why would trust the boost mobile payroll equivalent to file your payroll taxes?

Quickbooks doesn't take the fiduciary responsibility for filing your taxes, so one missed deadline and the penalties make it worth it to just pay someone to do it for you. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have peace of mind knowing everything is done for me and I don't have to deal with the IRS, than save a few bucks.

I don't expect QuickBooks to take any responsibility for MY mistake if I were to miss deadline. Again, I'm just speaking from my experience, doing payroll is really not that difficult and in my case I would be saving over $2k per year so it's clearly worth it to me.
