Shure SM7B Dynamic Microphone with CL-1 Mic Activator $384.99

The Shure SM7B rarely goes under $400 by itself and the CL-1 usually sells for $150 by itself, so this looks like a really good bundle price. The CL-1 provides up to 25dB of noise-free amplification, so it makes a great match with low-output level microphones.

Broadcast grade microphone. For beginners, probably SM57/58 or Sennheiser e935/945 are sufficient...

I was thinking e945 since it is super-cardioid and quite clear. I used e935 but with headphones, so I guess for speakers, you may want something with a narrower pattern.

Maybe a condenser microphone could be an option as well, like Rode NT1 or AKG C214 for an upgrade? It is pickier on the environment too...
