FFXII has been out of stock for delivery since at least Friday for me in California, and I'm supposed to get notified if it ever comes back in stock (and it hasn't). If you can find it locally, it's a great deal... but for the rest of us, I just settled on picking it up from Best Buy for $25 instead.
Ff XII is a great game. Oddly enough I enjoyed it the second time around, I didn't finish it the first time I played it. I think 4x speed really helped prevent the grind from feeling too painful

%100 agree. The 4x speed makes traversing so quick and battles speed by. Then the ability to respec that wasnt available in any previous versions helps so I dont scrutinize over every character to make sure i dont mess up.

Is the four times speed just in the switch version or is it in the PS4 version as well?
I've got both versions and have delayed playing the PS4 version again because I knew it was going to be such a long-ass game lol.
They had FF in stock at my local Target but wouldn't allow pickup, but a target not too far across town did so I went ahead and got my order in. Thanks.
It appears it is in the switch version as well. That would have made the game so much better on PS2
The combat system is actually amazing when sped up, but boring when slow. It's nice to have the ability to slow things down for tough battles and all, but if you set your gambits right most of your "random encounter" difficulty of battles are automatic and require party management.
It's interesting that it took me 4x speed to realize that.
They also added fast-travel points throughout the cities in the game to speed up travel.
It made the game never feel like a drag, which it felt like when I played it the first time. And now those kinds of features are in almost all games and pretty much a necessity.
The graphics held up decently too with upscaling, I was pretty surprised. Hardly amazing, but it's crazy how much they had to downscale the original graphics on the PS2
