I missed this monitor when they hit this price during the last Amazon Prime Day. It is the same low price! Thanks, OP!

Great price but the consistent complaint has been a poorly designed flimsy stand. The recommendations are to buy a vesa mount.

This 4k monitor (LG 27UL500-W 27-Inch) at the same price gets better reviews:

The one you posted has HDR10. So it's a better deal.

The 850 has better specs. Better brightness, response time, and supports hdr 10.

Here's a 650 vs 68 comparo (650 and 850 appear to have a similar panel if not the exact same):

You'll be better off going with 27UK850-W if cost is not a problem. It has better specs than the one posted.

what are some of the best 27 inch 4k monitors with hdr and higher refresh rate than these 60hz ones? I probably won't pay what that top asus one usually costs, but curious if there are any extremely good ones for something like $500-$700. Also I don't want ones that have fans…… Didn't even know any had fans until recently.

These better products keep producing more heat, and our air is not getting any colder.laugh out loud

Do you have a GPU or media that can push 4k above 60Hz?

im talking for video, not gaming, and also I mean if I set the resolution to something below 4k, which is what i'd do for a lot of things, other than video. main reason I want it is to see if it's easier on my head.

Then just get a tv and use for media. There is not enough of buyers who would pay a lot more to pack 4k at higher refresh rate with low lag. You sacrifice low lag then lots of options for you on tvs.

there are definitely 4k monitors with hdr and higher refresh rates, though. I just don't really know which ones are good.
