Reviews are so so on Amazon and definitely not a gaming computer, 4k screen is sharp and beautiful but the downside is to play games at native resolution and get decent fps requires a high end video card and a Geforce 2060 is going to struggle. Decent business laptop for those that want an awesome screen. If you do want to game you could change resolution to 1080P and turn on AA I guess to help, but if you want a gaming laptop get a 1080 or 1440P screen that has a high 120Hz+ refresh rate vs the 60Hz in this one.

"Whereas the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 was designed for 1080p gaming and could scrape by playing some games at 1,440p, the RTX 2060 has mastered high-frame rate Full HD gaming, delivering excellent 1440p results and somewhat playable 4K gaming hovering around 30 frames per second (fps)."

Price seems way to high for me.... Were there not cheaper 2060 deals during the weekend that were hundreds less or am I mistaken? I know there was a weird no major name brand one for sure, it was 17" if I recall correctly.

Shows 4.9 lbs on the 2nd or 3rd picture in the listing. Are you looking at shipping weight?

This creator laptop, or this one below?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHNZBDV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Rev5Db1E6NFMP

I am a gamer, but I don't necessarily game a lot on the road. I would primarily be using it for work, with light gaming maybe once every couple weekends. I care more about overall use.

Is that worth an extra $300-400 to people? Not to mention most "creators" will probably have this docked for any major work and not even using the screen.

For the specs this looks pretty darn good.

I just order Aero 15 OLED with 1660ti, 8gb, 256 SSD for $1399 and debating whether or not to return it and get this one. However I think, based on reviews that this one gets pretty hot...

Anyone has solid arguments to get is over the Aero15 ? One nice thing about Aero 15 is that it has a great screen, SD card, barebone config so I can put better memory and faster SSD in it.

Debate Smilie Thanks for any replies.

I see this logic everywhere and I just don't get it.
You won't be able to see much a difference between 1080p with antialiasing and 4k on a screen this size, and a 2060 will run new games at 1080p with max settings and full antialiasing.
The 4k monitor is there to make text and webpages look nice. It's silly as a programmer how much I appreciate a 4k display and how little I care about one as a gamer.
