It'd be such a pain to clean up all of these Nerf balls

They make a nut gatherer, for picking up nuts in your yard. Works great on these balls from the YT vids I have seen. Just roll it over the balls and it opens up and swallows them up

The perses comes with a recharable li-ion battery. The other requires 6 D cells. You can use rechargeable batteries with adapters but they won't last nearly as long. That alone would be worth it. The nemesis holds more rounds but I feel you could easily reload them anyways.

The Nemesis can use the Rival rechargeable NiMH battery pack. It is an additional expense but way cheaper vs. the 6 D batteries. So, in that respect, the Perses has an edge since it includes the battery, but both can use rechargeable batteries. Also, the Nemesis does hold more Rival balls. Otherwise, the Perses is smaller and lighter from what I've seen (not owning one), so that may be a plus.

I have both, and I like them both, but I prefer the Perses. It's lighter, fires faster and more instantaneously when the trigger is pulled, and is generally more fun in my opinion because of its compact size. That being said, though, they're both great blasters, and are surprisingly different. The Nemesis (which my wife prefers) has a greater capacity and fires more slowly, which imo makes it great in a support role, like a squad machine gun. The Perses is great for sneaking around like a SEAL with a submachine gun, though the ammo runs out fast. The rechargeable battery pack is a must for the Nemesis, though I wouldn't be surprised if they drop to around $15 or so like they did last year -- keep your eyes peeled.

Honestly, at these prices, you're best off keeping both. They are tons of fun. We had a battle in our house last week where my wife was using her Perses against me with a Kronos, while my 6-yr-old daughter laid down suppressing fire on her with the Nemesis. It was awesome. This Nerf Rival line has been a surprisingly big hit with my family. If you're concerned about the expense of these flywheel-powered blasters, consider some less expensive spring-powered models, like the Hades, Helios, and especially the Kronos. They will be equally fun with less investment up front. Please feel free to ask questions if I can be of any further help.

EDIT: Definitely get some eye protection for anyone in or around a Nerf battle. The ammo doesn't hurt, but could do some damage from a direct hit to the eyes.
