I'm looking for 49+tax deal too. I thought the old room sensor should be at that price or lower.

Do these work just as well with an Ecobee 3 lite as they do with Ecobee 4/5? I have no need for Alexa in my thermostat (already have an Echo in the room) so I'm trying to decide if a 3 lite + this sensor 2-pack would be a better buy for me than an Ecobee 4 or 5 since I don't need the Alexa functionality. Would I be missing anything else getting a 3 Lite besides Alexa?

Thanks for any help

Yes, they work with the Ecobee 3 Lite. If you have other devices (such as a humidifier) then you would need to get the Ecobee 4/5.

These are so ridiculously overpriced. Even at $20 a piece they feel overpriced.

Apparently they go 5 years vs 1 year for the sensor that came with the older units. Also can be further away from the unit.

People seem to be complaining about the battery drain on these vs V1. Anyone with direct experience. I have 6 of the v1 ones. The batteries on those already seem to go quick. I am on the fence...

Ive found once I replaced the batteries they came with the old sensors last much longer.

Anyone else see any benefits to these new style other than battery and range? My old ones seem to work just fine for my application.

It's an old deal/price.
