limit one per table and invalidate all other discounts and offers. Found out the fine prints after placed my order. No way to cancel. Not a good deal.

Thank you for the effort to read the fine print. I was tempted to buy the gift card. I agree, not a good deal. Thanks.

perfect for me since i'm only going to chilis exactly twice and getting the same thing.

i haven't had any issue using these in the past and online the system doesn't care.

is the bonus card a regular gift card or just a coupon?

Chilis.com does this promotion every Cyber Monday, and in years past those $10 bonus GCs worked on the 3 for $10 meals which is all I care about. If they didn't allow these on the 3 for $10, then I'd be bummed and never do this again, but otherwise you can go in and basically get a free 3 for $10 meal with each of these $10 bonus eGCs. It's true the bonus eGC doesn't allow any other coupons or offers and you can't use it on to-go orders. You can still pay the remainder with a normal Chili's GC.

I'm just waiting for Chili's to end the 3 for $10 promotion or raise the price, but as long as they have it I will keep going to Chili's often.

same as i was thinking. it's not an ordinary chilis gc but they don't seem to really care as much how you use it. we'll have to see if things have changed this year.

Well, I sure hope it still works on 3 for $10 in January-February since I ordered $100 and will have 4 $10 bonus cards to use. Interestingly, after ordering a couple hours ago, I got the $100 eGC and then an hour later 1 $10 bonus eGC. I hope the remaining 3 $10 bonus ones come soon.

Last year I had no problems with the $10 bonus cards on the 3 for $10 meals since my location said the 3 for $10 is simply a price on a menu item and not considered an "offer". The $10 bonus card doesn't specifically mention the 3 for $10, just not being combinable with other promotions/offers. I hate it when companies use vague words like "promotion" or "offer". I've had managers at other stores tell me everything (including normal shelf prices) is an "offer" so technically a mean manager could argue it however they want. My experience so far has been positive at my Chili's, so I think they would make an exception (even 4 times if necessary) rather than lose a regular customer if they reprogram the system before January. If they screw me on this, then I won't buy any more GCs from Chili's... only Sam's.

Sam's Club had $100 Chili's GCs for $70 and I could've bought more but didn't because I think the $100 for $60 is better as long as the $10 bonus cards can be used with 3 for $10.

The one weird thing about the 3 for $10 is in spite of my location saying that's not an "offer", you can't use a free appetizer/dessert type coupon with 3 for $10 for dine-in because the dine-in system treats it like an offer. Those only work for to-go orders, and I'm sure one of these days they will shut down that loophole. My rule never fails: all good things must come to an end or change for the worse. It's only a matter of time.

So, there is a risk to this deal with the 3 for $10, but I think it's small.

I just bought one of the egift tokens and found that the PIN for the $50 egift is blank and the two $10 PINs are 0000. Is that right?

I use those offers with coupons like free kids meals or apps. So unless the bonus GCs are usuable via kiosk or online no go

Both of my eGCs (normal and bonus) have a 16 digit number which I think is all you need. There is no blank for a PIN and I don't remember them having one. The normal eGC also has a QR code meaning you can use it at the ziosk, but bonus eGCs have to be handed to an employee.

BTW, did both of your $10 eGCs come in the same email at the same time or in separate emails? I've still only gotten 1 of the bonuses.

I'm pretty sure the $10 bonus eGC won't combine with kid's meal type coupons as it didn't work last year. I don't think the bonus eGC can be used online, but it might be usable for to-go orders at pickup.

Baguda, the $10 eGCs did come separately so you will get one more. They DO have a 0000 PIN. The egift $50 indeed reads just "PIN:"

And no QR on any of them.

" bonus eGCs have to be handed to an employee" = manager discount (which is hard enough when the kiosk doesn't work)

this is why I only do these type of promos if they're true GCs which is few (Cafe Rio is one)

We need a thread for "real" GC promos.
