The battery capacity is actually 6Ah (https://www.hover-1.com/hover-1-pioneer-manual), not 4Ah like what others are saying in this thread. The Xiaomi M365 is 7.8Ah.

I called them 3 mins ago and they did price adjustment for me.
It was interesting that Walmart.com support asked me to return the one I just purchased and delivered for $198 and re-order again in order to get the better price. I was told Walmart does not do price match during Cyber Monday.

For the record, I weigh 255 and have so far made it 3 miles on a full battery. The roads were I was on were not perfectly flat with about. 5-10 degree incline or decline for most of the trip. I was also able to easily reach 14 mph on flat road. The battery is current at 3/5 bars.

I'll take it! I weigh close to what you do, and I was concerned that their specs were a bit generous with what it would support. But if you're getting likely 3-6 miles on a charge, that's ok with me!

Now if I could just maintain my impatience waiting for mine to come in the mail...... Whee

Got it for $75 the other day on clearance at my local Walmart. Is there a way to still buy the protection plan after purchasing it

Yeah, I think up to 30 days after purchasing. Try going here, but you may need to link your in store purchase to your account.

A quick call to Walmart Customer Service can most likely get the job done if you run into any issues.

I got the 3-year plan for $22.

Just ordered a 2nd one for $148 today. Deal is not dead.

First one came already. Took it out today. Seems quality and fun to ride.

At this price point it's definitelly a no brainer. This is basically a Xiaomi M365, specs and size between a regular m365 and the Pro version.

Nice! Are you gonna put slime in your tires to prevent flats? I wonder if the wheels are easy to take on and off, given the Xiaomi is a nightmare...

Got mine today, loving it! Weigh 185 lbs and am easily able to hit 15mph. Went for an 8 mile ride today mostly at full speed. This drained the scooter to one bar over the course of an hour. Took the display assembly apart to see if it is interchangeable with M365 displays( to add Bluetooth/custom fw )- it is not. One connector is the same, but the other three are not. The pinouts for the connections are also different. The display board does have an exposed UART header that I plan on playing around with. The board contains a Nuvoton ARM microprocessor and an lcd controller chip. I'll likely order a NuLink programmer to dump the firmware and play around with things if I don't see anything too interesting going over serial. Anyone that is interested in collaborating on some custom firmware let me know. I bought an additional scooter just to hack and am not too concerned if it gets bricked.

Not knowing anything about scooters, is the battery replaceable when it goes bad? Also, can you put on a larger battery, for longer duration?

Any thoughts on extending the battery? I assumed there's 18650s in her but not sure if there's room for the extra cells or need to change the charge controller

I, too, am interested in extending battery life. That would be the one gripe I have with this scooter. If you could have one at this price.

I'd like to get somewhere in the 20 mile range at full speed (I'm 170lbs) if possible. Any input would be appreciated
