what did they say when you contacted them about the issues? https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif
I've had great customer service when working with Wyze. The are fairly quick and resolved all my issues. When I had a connection problem it ended up being my internet upload speed. Off network I was only getting 0.8 Mbps up and they helped me play with the settings and it now works reliably

Has anyone heard any update on outdoor cameras? TBH, I just keep mine in front of windows inside looking out and it works okay, but I'd still prefer an outdoor rated one. Still, these cameras are awesome for what you get (yes, they can lag a little, but for free service I can't pick it apart.)
I've had mine outside for almost a year under overhangs in New England. No issues yet, even with the one on my shed that has minimal cover.

Love the Wyze Cameras but feel they got in too late in the other smart home game. I already have motion sensors and contact sensors from other companies. If your new to the smart home world though this might be the way to go.

Was looking for a deal for a Wyze cam or a Pan. I own 2 Pan cams, have no issues with them till now. I am in the Google assistant eco-system and they run great with the Google integration (assistant, Chromecast, etc.). Thanks for this! In for one. Smilie Smilie

wyze lost person sense ability that will be phased out in January I heard. 3rd party company that does the edge AI person detection has flushed the contract with Wyze. Wyze has since said they will develop a solution in house to handle it, but I suspect person detection will be lost for some time. Just FYI. I still love the cams.

Exactly. There is a reason these cameras are $20.
How much have you spent on foil for your hats?

This has been fixed for a long time.

I bought a couple enclosures for outdoor use and they have been working just fine for the better part of a year.

The deal here is the savings on shipping. The camera alone costs $19.99 and the Sense starter kit alone is $19.99. You get prime shipping to boot. In for one, thanks OP.
Where?
Locally it was at home Depot on BF for $25 lol

So with the contact sensors I can use IFTTT to automatically turn on/off my wifi lights when I leave/enter the house?

Caution : I already have Wyze camera. I got email last week that Wyze have some contract issue with their AI Vendor and they will not have "Person AI Detection" for some time starting from Jan onwards . Wyze going to develop in house AI but it will take some time.
