Thank you. I ended up going with the cheaper one since it's more powerful. I even like the look better, too. It's shaped more like a regular toaster oven vs being tall and boxy.
All the dedicated air fryers have a much larger top part. I wonder if this will hinder the smaller model. Less powerful fan = less air flow = worse air frying?

You have to remove the plastic from the food. It's not a microwave
The're 4 rubbers insert in the metal tray to stop scratching the wall basket. Most the new one have them ( the old Gourma 675 have a basket with handle and sit on top of the bucket). I'm going to return one from Costco and Power XL form Kohl too.

I considered that. It seems like it has the fan unit is on the side instead of the top. So maybe it won't cook as evenly w/o stirring/shaking? I'm hoping it won't make much difference.

I am more interested in this one: Gourmia GTF7650 24-in-1 Multi-function, but can't find it anywhere. Anyone know why?
Look like no retailer carrying it yet.

It's a good brand, same one that Costco carries.

Bought the Gourmia 6 Qt from Costco before BF, still have some plastic smell after couple of use, plan to return that one. Perhaps with fully stainless steel interior, there won't be any plastic smell.
Remove some plastic material that act like feet or something. If I still remember that was advised by some owners. I did that before my first use and never smelled a thing

Then it will easily scratch the side wall and bottom which is all teflon.Applause

Is the Deco Chef Air fryer better than this (deal from buydig)

I dont see any reviews about it and am thinking of returning it for a different air fryer. Any suggestions?

How does the digital display and it's electronics keep from getting air fried?

Can anyone tell me why this one is regularly priced at twice as much as this other one from the same brand? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081FJV...5DbX8KRAH4

What is the difference functionally? I think the cheaper one looks nicer, but am willing to get this one if it's better.
I am not 100% sure. But base on the look, I think the fan of the cheaper one is on the side compare this one, which seems to be on the top. So, I guess the cheaper one is basically a conventional oven, while this one is bias to a air fryer.

I like my friend's other air fryer from this brand. So, I picked this one up. Thanks.

It is not rubber....its silicone. Rubber would melt and it would not smell like plastic...it would smell like burning a rubber tire.

I have no plastic smell in my unit but I did the break in process like I do for all air fryers.
