Or you can get the instant pot combo that's an IP as well as airfryer all in one
I saw that one but I think it was a bit large for my counters (seemed a bit too tall) and the price and reviews were not as enticing. The one I'm thinking of was something like $250 if I recall correctly, but maybe that was the regular price or the deal was expired.

This looks ugly and probably won't be approve by my wife. And it's a convention oven, not exactly an air fryer
It's an air fryer as well...

I think it was 150ish as deal recently, either Macy's or Amazon I believe

EDIT: it was Target. $110 https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/519122 expired now.

Okay, it was probably 250 regular price then. I'll keep it in mind and see if there's a good spot to put it. I was thinking the one in the topic as I'm pretty certain it would fit (not sure how much clearance so it might be iffy)

You say that in a gourmia thread... Not exactly the brand name known for high quality products.
I did not say Gourmia is a brand name. I said that with Emeril, you are paying for the brand name. I'm willing to give new brands a shot, especially if Costco was willing to.

The Emeril oven is just a TriStar oven with the Emeril name.

[QUOTE=iguana;132896192]Our smallest air fryer, about 2.6 qts, was enough for two portions, or one portion for two people of only one dish. The next one, 3.5 qts can cook 2-3 portions in pan and 2-3 on rack for a total of 4-6 portions of one item.

Doing the math on the cooking areas of these two machines, I estimate a cooking area of 20-25 sq inches per portion. Cooking area is key.

There only 2 of us and the 3.5qt model is adequate. Then this size seems better for 6 people. Were we a growing family, installing an air-fryer wall oven might be on the agenda.[/QUOTE

Thanks, i pulled the trigger. hope this will be adequate for our needs.

I thought I would come back and update this thread in case someone is still looking at the model. So far I've been pleased. It cooks well. The heating elements are classic resistance-wire (not quartz bulbs like my Beneville convection oven). Last night, I air-fried some raw frozen chicken wings (lightly oiled and rubbed) and they came out great. I think I got about 20 or 25 to fit air-fry basket lined with foil.
I can't speak for longevity, but as a daily cooker I like.

I got the other model by Gourmia (GTF7355). Unfortunately, it arrived DOA. It powers up fine and I can use the menu, but then it gives me an error (E001) before doing anything. I keep thinking maybe I forgot to unpack something but can't find the culprit. I called Gourmia and they will handle the replacement. I do like the compact size of it.

I bought it from kohls for similar price with discounts and kohls cash. Cash was expiring and I've been looking for something like this. Seems to be what I wanted just the limited reviews were a gamble. From other forums though Gourmia seems to have good customer support and their basket model of air fryer has good reviews.
