Just got a survey from Verizon and it appears as though they are doing some market research for their new credit card offering.

The Verizon Credit Card allows you to earn rewards based on your everyday shopping habits. Get rewarded for every dollar you spend at Verizon/Fios, at the grocery store, at the gas station. at restaurants, and everywhere else you shop. Verizon Up members can receive additional rewards by redeeming Up credits for Verizon Dollars instead of device dollars.

Verizon Dollars can be used on future devices, accessories, your monthly bill, or towards a select group of charities and don't expire for active Verizon Credit Card users and Verizon customers.
By signing up and using the card, you will earn Verizon Dollars and receive a $100 credit toward a new device issued as a credit over 24 months.

You will earn Verizon Dollars everywhere you shop:
* 4% on Gas/Grocery Stores
* 3% on Dining
* 2% on Verizon/Fios
* 1% on All Other spend

You will also receive the following benefits:
+ 2 Free Travelpasses per year (no charge to use your domestic Verizon calling plan and features while traveling in over 185 countries)
+ Receive $10 per line Unlimited plan discount (with autopay when using the Verizon Credit Card as the choice of payment and paperless billing) and continue to earn 2% back on your Verizon bill with this card
+ Fios customers are eligible to receive their $10/month discount with autopay and paperless billing when using the Verizon Credit Card as their choice of payment.
+ No foreign transaction fees
+ No Annual Fee

bulb save money by checking your insurance every 2 years (and not every 20) Thanks Liberty Mutual for reminding me to shop. The $842 increase this year sums it up. Across the board increase for Ohio....whatever

F that...earning Verizon dollars??? The ONLY reason I would ever consider this would be for the $10 per line discount since there's no annual fee. Saving $20 a month on my cell bill would be helpful if it was legit.
