Almost as good as the free camera deal! Great if you want to jump on the latest and the greatest. Note: HomeKit support is in beta right now, you can email Eufy support to get on the beta. Full release is slated for later this month. Eufy did not make it clear if HomeKit Secure Video will be released along with the initial HomeKit support update.

Hum, just bought these from Bestbuy 2 weeks ago for 350. Wonder if they would retro match this price. Wishful thinking I guess.

I don't think so because of the discount code, but if you get a match please post here and let us know.

The Best Buy deal was the 2 camera system, but included a free camera as part of the initial offer. It's now just 2 cameras.

Is there a good summary of the recent camera models for Eufy? This is the 2 (aka 2E model), correct?

I have the Doorbell and not sure which model to target for the price (E, 2C, 2E). I'm also hesitant since AFAIK they doorbell isn't supporting backup to a hub or IFTTT at this time. Sounds like the spotlight does support that though, so maybe there's an update coming.

Thanks OP. I was looking to get this but really didn't want to pay normal retail. Hopefully, it's worth the cost. Costco has several systems that have several cameras that are cheaper than this solution but it doesn't have ease of installation. Rolling the dice so we will see.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eufy-.../311523931

this is the same model right?

and from the image, it looks like it comes with door sensor.

But which is better? Looks like there are 3 home bases. home base/home base E and then home base 2. The only negative I see with home base 2 is no battery backup.

main difference (based on Q&A on Amazon) is ver 2 supports homekit (apple cloud secure video) while old version does not.

Homebase 2 Vs Homebase
♦ The size of the Homebase; The Homebase 2 is much smaller and lighter.
♦ Homebase has backup battery; The Homebase 2 does not
♦ Homebase 2 doesn't come with Micro SD card, it comes with built-in 16GB eMMC, more stable and faster access than micro-SD. Also, it comes with a USB slot that support USB storage.
♦ The USB charging port of Homebase 2 doesn't support 9V charging model, only charge devices at 5V;
♦ The Homebase 2 doesn't support AI, the Homebase of eufyCam support AI.
♦ The LED light on Homebase 2 is blue, it is red on Homebase/Homebase E.
The Homebase 2 will support Homekit when adding eufyCam 2 / 2C.
