did some research on the warranty and it seems many people are not happy with the RMA process (requires mail-in, takes up to 3-4 months, according to some reports).

obviously YMMV with warranty, but this is a a dealbreaker for me, personally
Warranties are such a scam that I wish companies would just get rid of them and reduce prices by the cost of the warranty. Let people who can't sleep at night without warranties buy them separately.

The dirty truth no one tells you about. Finer teeth are nice for arch for small spaces. However they are not as strong. Same metal/heat treat yes. But the teeth are smaller and less contact area so more prone to breaking(stripping a few teeth off internals). Keep that in mind for the initial break lose use a stand one if it will fit.
Yea I thought there wasn't 120 teeth on the ratchets ;they have alternating paws that make it 120 clicks.3 degrees each click.I love my 120xp set.I paid 110 for mine off ebay if that helps watsoever

I purchased these for about $20 more than the SD price and I can honestly say that they are worth every penny.

Ah yes, the infamous warranty concern from the crowd. How often do you think ratchets just break? These ratchets are serviceable and solid. Warranty concerns from homeowners...worry me. Dont abuse your tools

Can anyone comment on the ability to tighten the flexhead as it loosens over time?

That's not true. More teeth make contact, since as you note they're smaller. They're just as strong as a low tooth count ratchet

You might have to send it in for warranty replacement if you buy from Amazon, but the couple of times that I've needed something replaced it was no problem at the local shop that I purchased the tools from.

As an FYI, I discovered there are sockets with external hex that can be used (E.g.) a flex head ratcheting wrench on (eg, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JBK1FHG/)
Man you are awesome. I didn't know these kind of sockets exist. They totally deserve a separate thread. Thump up!!
