This is a great magnetic toy. I bought this from Sam's Club during the summer and by far it is my toddlers' favorite toy to play with. I highly recommend it because it develops spatial reasoning and awareness.

Would like to know this too, We already have MagnaTiles that we paid a lot for. Would get these if I someone can confirm that they are compatible.

Thanks...

We have a starter set of both magnets (actually think we have this same set) and they're not compatible due to how different the sizes are between the brands. These are fine but don't fit together as nicely as the MagnaTiles.
Thanks for the reply, since you have the set from the OP, can you tell me about the quality. Would you say its on par with MagnaTiles? Or cheap knockoff imitations?

Ours is PicassoTiles from Amazon. They are compatible with magna tiles, so probably incompatible with this one?

Bought these on Amazon a while ago and kids really like them. Not sure if these will snap with other brands like others have asked. It looks like it might.

I was mistaken with our other brand - we don't have MagnaTiles, so what I said about fit above may not be true. As far as these, they're perfectly fine. The others we have (which I can't remember at all) are better but more expensive and these do the job.

I hear great things about both magnatiles, the Picasso ones, and these. I think any of the three would be great! The only thing I don't care for is if you are t a member there's a 10% free plus shipping after all that and tax it comes close to 40$ for me

These appear that they would be compatible. The thing that makes magna-tiles more durable than any of the other brands I've seen is that magna tiles have actual metal rivets in each piece, so that if the plastic bond between the 2 halves fails the tiles will still be held together and the magnets won't just fall out. If your kids play nicely the cheaper ones are probably fine, but my kids are a bit rough and the magna tiles really hold up better than some of the cheapies.

Wonder how they compare to magna tiles. I have had mine for 8 years now and survived 4 kids.

Anyway to get free shipping or free pick up? I'm not a member but I pass Sam's club at least 3 times a week.

Can't allow myself to pay for shipping.

This is $37 before tax because of 10% nonmember fee and shipping. The Picasso 100pc set is $49.99. Is the Picasso set better than this one?
