Does ryzen 7 2700x benefit from the neo series (which is optimized for ryzen 3000 series)?

From what I read, 2000 series processors (ryzen plus) can't really use ram above 3200 yet I see ppl overclocking ram to run at much higher speeds.

I am still deciding between that, trying my b die 3200, or buying b die 3600 if they get it back ins tock.

Now g.skill claims mine SHOULD work on my mobo. And since Samsung supposedly OCs so well maybe I could get my current one as fast as those, anyway.
