I didn't see it posted but Verizon is offering an LG Stylo 5 32 GB for free. Shipping is also free, but you can pick up in store. If you have a spare line an for upgrade. I suppose for new customers as well. I am upgrading a line "feature phone" that I have no intention of replacing (my mothers.)

Here are the details:

Online only, ends today! Get this device free. No trade-in req'd.
$240 purchase on device payment or at retail price req'd. Less $240 promo credit applied to account over 24 mos; promo credit ends if eligibility requirements are no longer met; 0% APR.

You will be responsible for the $20 upgrade fee (normally $40) and any taxes.

The phone will be unlocked after 60 days.

Phone is free after 24 months of bill credit with a new line...So every month you have to pay $20 line access fee?

I have an existing line. Which is $20 a month even with a feature phone. Does Verizon even have a plan that doesn't charge $20 per line. I don't think so.

Really surprised to see all the negative remarks. I just used this deal to get my parents two new LG Stylo 5s. We are not planning on leaving Verizon and they were due for an upgrade, so now they paid $35 for new phones basically, same plan, same service. Seems like a killer deal for my situation.

Also, anyone referencing a premium flagship phone in this thread is missing the point of this deal.

Yeah, that's my point. You have to pay $20 a month for line access

The deal alert said "Free Verizon LG Stylo 32 GB Online Only Today Only". The reality suffers by comparison.

Same here, debating on getting extras on my BYOD lines, they aren't upgrades spec wise but for $40 that would be one neat mobile emulator device.

The $20 is a one time charge. It is not every month. Duh

No, you need to pay a line access fee of $20 a month. If you are upgrading, it's the same $20/mo you pay on the line, or an extra $20/mo on your bill for a new line. The activation fee is a one time $20 fee. Plus tax on the retail price.
