The deal has been there for at least a few days. It's not a discount, it's Amazon Prime credit card cash back.

I just chatted with Amazon customer support.
I was told that the 1TB does not qualify, but the 500GB does qualify for the 15% back.
They said that only the items listed on this page offer the 15% cash back:

https://www.amazon.com/l/17985366...CRVA6MRVXW

The 1TB was on offer for Black Friday, and the 500GB is on offer for Cyber Monday.

I believe the Amazon Card is through Chase.

My Amazon Chase has Prime on front of it, but nothing shows up about additional 15% cashback at checkout so wanted to be sure it was that or the Amazon store card through SYNCB. The Chase card also only shows cashback at 3% when I thought is was normally 5%, which also had me thinking it was wrong card.

Nothing showed for me at checkout either but I need the drive either way so I will dispute later if I remember

WHY AM I CURSED BY BUYING STUFF ON BLACK FRIDAY INSTEAD OF WAITING TILL MONDAY? This is the second deal for a 512 ssd that makes a 256gb for 42$ seem really stupid. It is what I get for thinking a lighting deal is an actual good deal.

It's the one from Synchrony. Its just the Amazon Prime Store Card.

I use it in my Atomos Ninja V video recorder, 4K24 10bit ProRes HQ, massive file sizes.
It's on par with the Samsung 860 EVO and WD Blue in my use case.
The Sandisk Ultra couldn't keep up with the other 3.
