Great price at Rakuten, I paid more than this six months ago at what was a low at that point.

The points last one full calendar year.

How are Dyson refurbs? I purchased a new v8 absolute with free accessories for $249 + 15% back this morning. I think the refurb v8 or v10 with 25% back is a better deal if it comes like new.

I got a full size roller ball vac from them refurbished and it looked great except for small cut mark on cord and has worked perfectly for years since. I buy refurbished stuff a lot and theirs was one of the better condition refurbs I've ever received....Packaging and accessories etc. were all like new as well...I bought this deal without hesitation based on that...

That's good to know. I'm sticking with the new absolute deal primarily because of the 2 year warranty + 1 year extension from my CSR card. This is an fp worthy deal for the v8 and V10 refurbs but don't think SD will let a rakuten cb deal make it

Eh. It's a toss up. I got a V6 refurb a few years ago and lasted a while until a strange smell developed and had to replace the filter with aftermarket one.

I bought a return V8 in January for my in-laws and just now the Motörhead stopped working and have to go to Dyson repair center to see what's happening.

And finally, I bought a new one V8 for myself at a really good sale last Christmas and battery died within 6 Months. It was u see warranty and got it replaced.

In the end a 6 month warranty isn't worth the savings imho. Especially since credit card won't extend refurb warranties.

Either way you can't lose, both great deals. With the new one you do get the extra warranty and accessories.....And I didn't think of that angle, yeah SD prob. isn't keen on others getting the CB.....

Wow, thanks for posting your feedback. Was looking at the current eBay deals but sounds like the quality is really hit or miss on these. Going to pass and look at other brands. Rep'd you +4!
