Forgive me if this is elsewhere but what is this extra 15 off for a Chase reward point?
If you Chase reward card for payment and use like 1 point to pay part of the order you get $15 discount of $100..I'm not sure if it's targeted offer or available to everyone with Chase credit card.
The Amazon review is wrong, or at least misinformed. It 100% satisfies code requirements if ALL of the units are Nest. A combination of wired and battery powered is just fine.
To the best of my knowledge, there aren't any interconnected detectors that can be mixed and matched with different brands.
Let's say I want to add a wired one... under a staircase (lot of computer equipment). Can I purchase a power cord, and strip down to the wires on said power cord, and properly wirenut it onto this Nest like I would have if it was in the ceiling?
Planning on having the electrician do it, just looking for direction in my plan.
Buy regular wired ones and a Ring listener, Wyze as the secondary listener. Maybe one battery Nest for the fancy. I don't understand why people still buy wired Nest, you have to replace ALL.
Good advice. How much is the Ring listener? Can it listen to glass break too?

i am planning to buy these for my parents home in Hong Kong so i am wondering if these would work
But if you are in HK you have access to the Xiaomi Mijia line of home products and they are way cheaper then this even at the sale price.
