Tonight this was a good deal. I have the older version from 2 years ago and have had good luck with it. Also you get a free echo dot.

So I have a 3 year old TV which was also a Slickdeal back in the day. The Samsung 65" UN65KU6300FXZA. Does anyone have this TV as well and should I "upgrade" to this TV? Or would it be a downgrade?

Actually the better question is how does this stack up against the Vizio V series 65" for $399 that's a more comparable unit.

I vote Vizio

If you have to ask because you can't tell the difference then you're probably better off just keeping what you currently have..

This does indeed appear to be a Hisense since it shows up as a model on Hisense's UL model listings for Canada. Here is a link, http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:eb8cO0sz9NcJ:productspec.ul.com/canada/document... [googleusercontent.com]

Currently making a slow move toward Alexa coming from Google Home as an early adopter.. it's good but there's been far more products that work with Alexa that I've wanted compared to Google/Nest.

The only major product I have that works with Google is my LG Oled 4k .. and really the features I use are purely based on the TV itself thus not useful as a smart speaker.. sucks because Google could absolutely destroy Amazons AI beyond repair if they wanted to based on the extreme data they have over Amazon.. thats for another topic but yeah Amazon is far more aggressive whereas Google just expects their products to sell themselves.. Amazon engages far more with smaller companies, I just think Amazon is doing a lot more and its showing by having 75% larger market share vs Google in the smart home speaker market.
I'm with you - I've been a long subscriber of the Google Play Music environment (comes with YouTube Red) and I wish more things integrated with that like Alexa Show devices (not going to happen) and DTS Play-Fi.

I have this. Going to return it in favor of this deal. Tried to get the HiSense one (nerd cheapest sea) but it just wouldn't fit in my car.
