It is well worth the money. I replaced a 1080P LG and the blacks alone on this sharp make the upgrade from the LG a score. ROKU is a bonus.
I won't lie, out of the box the picture was meh, but I got it set to my liking and I'm happy. It's replacing a 8+ year old Samsung Plasma (1080P) so i'm happy. Roku again is a bonus. I feel the TCL I bought a few years ago might edge it out on Picture Quality, but overall extremely satisfied with the money spent. Longevity remains to be seen, as some report these units dying within a few months - but you'll always have situations like that with an electronic. Here's hoping our sets live a long and happy life in our homes! Smilie

Damn glad I didn't get this then. Sounds like money would have been better spent for a TCL for a bit more

There is a link to the settings about 12 posts back. There's also a review from the same site a few pages back

I just received the TV. Thanks to the previous poster who posted the calibrated settings. One question: I see in some earlier posts that people recommend turning off Power Saving/Low Power mode. I can't find this setting....any idea where it is? TIA

Low power is a picture setting option. Not sure of any other option.

Anyone else got theirs and set it up. I've seen mixed comments on this and am wondering if I should replace my Sceptre 4K 47" which I got on Black Friday about 4 years ago, or cancel the delivery.

They're finally in stock around me. Just picked up. I'll set it up tonight and report back with impressions.

Update: Coming from a 720p 46" Panasonic plasma purchased in 2010 I'm happy so far. I'm going to tweak the settings to these mentioned by srgetz a few pages back and run some 4K HDR content through it.

Update 2: I adjusted the settings and skimmed through a few movies. My summary is that it's alright. It doesn't blow my socks off, but it does feel like an upgrade from my old screen and I'm happy with the price. Tomorrow I'll play around with it some more.

Additional note: the mount screws are M6. I bought 20mm and they're a bit long for my mount so I threw some more washers on.
I have a question as to where to find some of the PICTURE SETTINGS. I have downloaded the Roku app, and was able to adjust:

-Picture Mode: *Movie
-Gamma: 2.4 (via Roku app)
-Color Temperature: Warm
-Noise Reduction: Off (via Roku app).

..and, was able to adjust "TV Brightness: Brighter" using the physical remote by going into the TV's settings, but was not able to locate the following settings:

-Contrast: 49
-Brightness: 50
-Color: 50
-Tint: -2
-Sharpness: 0
-Backlight: 74

Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Press the * button when you're on an input and go to Picture Settings. Note you'll have to adjust for each input.

Those settings come during streaming. Play anything from any app then press the star button during streaming. You should be able see those options.

I actually tried those suggested picture settings and I thought they weren't as good as the "Vivid" preset setting on the TV. Great picture and smart features for $200 tho. The suggested pic settings posted here made if look like there was a yellowish tinge to the pic that I didn't like.
