Good deal and on a 4K set, this film looks absolutely stunning. Not MA-eligible, unfortunately.

First 10 minutes seemed promising. But downhill after that. Didn't like the movie.

Kinda agree. This film is pretty boring to me. I personally would not put it anywhere close to Arrival.

Thanks, OP! Good use of digital credits for slower shipping.

This fake-woke wannabe jock artiste writer/director Alex Garland should never make a movie again after this bloated indulgent trainwreck of a movie. So many gullible "fans" thought it was about something deep. IT WASN'T. Just a pharmacy drug trip.
I'm sure that they will recognize your position of authority on what they should find enjoyable in film and repent for daring to have different tastes.

Given your use of "woke" methinks you likely didn't even watch the film and are just triggered by a movie with female leads. For me this is up there with Arrival as one of the better slow-burn sci-fi in the last decade. The scenes with the bear and the crawler and the music/visuals in general create a very unsettling and otherworldly atmosphere and ambiguous endings done this well are rare.

fyi, non-4K UHD version is on Prime Video, so free if you pay for Prime. Just gonna watch it now on my 1080p 65". I'm sure any good sci-fi flick is enhanced with higher res visuals and sound, but I am just a poor boy (first world version).

Slightly enhanced maybe, it's still digital. On disc is where you'll experience real, noticeable enhancements
