Not sure where the dimmer should be used when all these can be adjusted using commands. If this was 4 bulb version for same price instead of switch, would have been awesome.

Random - if I buy three sets of these for the bulbs and the switches.
Is there a use for the extra 2 hubs? Can they be meshed/chained together for coverage?

Amazing Deal. I just wish Philips was more reasonable with the pricing on the motion sensor. I got it for $25 2 years ago.

You have can multiple hubs on your Hue account, the primary reason for this is support for additional devices (each hub I think technically supports 64, but people say they get finicky in the 30-40 device range). I don't think the hubs themselves will integrate into the same mesh network, at least I couldn't find anyone confirming that in a quick search.

Based on what I could find, if there is a green label on the upper right of the box, this indicates the "richer color" of the bulbs, and this means the package is a v3. Blues and greens are supposed to be more distinct and vibrant. There is no noticeable difference in the hub that is included (v2.0 vs v2.1)

I bought the package for 129.99 this morning and honestly can find nothing online about what is dfferent between that and the 99.99 package. I can confirm that in the 129.99 package, the bulbs were Bluetooth compatible. I'm guessing that the ones in the 99.99 are not but can't confirm until I receive them. I ordered the 99.99 set now and will return the 129.99 as bluetooth is not necessary if you use the hub.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to install the dimmer switch into a regular light switch?

They don't state anywhere the watts equivalent. It's only 60. I need 100. Anyone have any experience with Teckin bulbs? I found these [amazon.com] that are 13w (100w equivalent) for $20 each, and there rb30s which will look better in my ceiling. And it doesn't require a hub.

This is version 3 BTW..

I've tried two different alternate/cheaper brand bulbs (can't remember specifically). Hue's colors were brighter, and more vibrant and true to life. Also, I would add, programming and the apps that control them make it much easier if they are all the same brand. Philips has a lot of good app support. This deal is so good. I bought two. And I already have several Hue lights.

Whats the difference between this one and the one below? They are the same but the one below is $129.99

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/phil...Id=6284233
Looks like one has a light switch and one doesn't. The $129 has switch, $100 doesn't from what I can tell. Both have dimmer and bridge.
