Ugh, I have the same problem here. I called BB support. Not sure if I called too late or there is another reason but they aren't pricematching until tomorrow. I asked them a theoretical question and I was told that they were not going to pricematch due to the different SKUs. Oh well. Luckily I haven't broken open the $129.99 kit and can still return it.

Is this worth buying two of because of the normal price on these bulbs? I'm starting the smart light thing and will need more bulbs, but I'm not sure how often the bulbs only go on sale.

There are no actual electronics like a regular light switch. It is battery operated and magnetically attached to it's frame.

I bought several.
I've only seen the bulbs drop as low as $35 each so this is a really great deal!

In for 3 to get the $30 off $300 from Amex and CB site "Shop Smarter" trial for 30 days.

3 * $99.99 = $299.98 + ~20 tax - $30 Amex offer - $30 CB = ~$87/each.

I will keep one and sell the other 2 for $100-120/each.

Does this include a hub or not? All I see from any of the product description is the bridge, not a hub

Yep. The bulbs have the smarts in them. Most folks usually end up getting covers for their existing switches so that people don't turn off the power to the bulbs. We use Amazon Echos for controlling the lights themselves. The dimmer in this kit is just a mountable wall plate with a detachable remote in the middle of it. You can use it for the dimming or you can customize it to do different things via the Hue website.
