Here we go again! Unused hub number 4 and 5 have been ordered. I really wish they'd have sales on multi packs of just bulbs. But, as has been stated, this $33 per bulb is about as "inexpensive" as it gets.

Edit: I didn't even realize the kits come with dimmer switches. This is a smokin' deal indeed!

Yep! I'm in for 3. At this price, I'm starting to replace the white Hue bulbs everywhere.

So I have mostly can lights and pretty high ceilings. Would these do the trick or should I be looking for the Hue floodlight equivalent?

You want BR30 Hue lights. These are A19.

They don't state anywhere the watts equivalent. It's only 60. I need 100. Anyone have any experience with Teckin bulbs? I found these [amazon.com] that are 13w (100w equivalent) for $20 each, and there rb30s which will look better in my ceiling. And it doesn't require a hub.
The lights you link to are RGB not RGBW, unless I'm mistaken. So the only "white" you'd get would be a very bluish white, from Red Green and Blue combined

Isn't there a 4th gen now? Bluetooth compatible I think?
