I wouldn't recommend the switch adapter, I have a similar adapter and it doesn't allow charging while playing because it doesn't charge it fast enough to keep up with playing. I managed to purchase a USB-C extension cable from Walmart last year for $2 that was specifically made for the switch and I use that to charge from the original adapter while I play if I want to play past what the battery life of the switch allows.
