You can also check out with PayPal for the Chase Freedom 5% back. I chose to use my costco citi card for the 2 year extended warranty though. Also score another $140 cash back....

I haven't bought a PC since like 2007. Is it still more cost effective to buy separate parts and build one yourself? edit: sorry didn't even realize this was a laptop. seems like some great hardware for the price

Realistically, you can't build a laptop.

If you don't specifically need a laptop, it would be better to build a desktop.

The first laptop I ever bought was a DIY laptop lol. Dunno if they exist much anymore. All you really added was HDD and RAM.

Do not see that offer on my chase cards. Great deal for those that have it. Otherwise you can still score $140 cash back via other means.

Very solid deal! You can get it for just under $1500 with a rtx 2080 if you choose the i7-9750. This is better than the msi ge75 with a 2070 i purchased through slickdeals a week ago. 😢. It's ok i am happy with my purchase. Repped op

Great price for these specs especially with Gsync. I just wonder how quickly the cpu thermal throttles when gpu and cpu running full tilt.

Why are 2060 and 2080 laptops so much slower than Dekstop equivalents? I'm not even talking about Max q. Just regular ones. Laptops are just slower.

My AMD FX 4350 desktop honestly is snappier than my i7-8650 laptop in opening and closing files, folders, chrome and other software. Maybe not rendering or applying Photoshop stuff.
