All of Dells stuff on Rakuten comes with 25% points back today and tomorrow as their 10% back stacks with Rakuten's 15% back. I just couldn't really find any better deals than the two deals I posted on here this morning but you can browse the entire deal here: https://www.rakuten.com/shop/dell/

How long do you have to use super points bonus portion? Is it 90 days?

How loud is this computer? The reason I ask, is that I returned the alienware aurora r8 from the last deal because it was still too loud even being water cooled. I assumed it was an issue with the graphics card in that model.

Oh nice. They used to be good for only 90 days the bonus portion. Haven't shopped rakuten in a while

Hmm, no you have me second guessing myself. I know the 15% from Rakuten will be good for a year but the Dell bonus 10% I am unsure of now and cannot find any concrete information about.

The processor should be fine but the graphics card would need an upgrade.

With the super points you could always sell the 1650 for $100 and then grab an Rx 5700 for under $300 on Rakuten when a 15% OFF deal shows up again

Just a note on this newer A9; the plastic housing is new but the internal chassis is the same as with the A8 so apart from being aesthetically more pleasing (& a claim that it somehow allows for 5% better airflow), the update is minimal

Seems comparable to the PowerSpec G157 that Microcenter has for $500 with no rebates/points.

Intel Core i5-9400F Processor 2.9GHz
NVIDIA GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5
8GB DDR4-2666 RAM
250GB SSD

Yeah the deal really lies in the points back with this one. If you shop on Rakuten enough though the $199.75 back is almost as good as cash. Sure it has to be used on Rakuten but there are deals posted on here almost daily

If you're luckily enough to live by one of the 25 Micro Center locations in the entire country then I'm sure there are better deals out there. Hell, I posted one a few days ago that I'd consider better value. https://slickdeals.net/f/13649200-micro-center-in-store-only-powerspec-g317-gaming-desktop-pc-799-99

What is your source Of this information? It's important because many people keep saying r9 is so much quieter. If that's not true than... r8 is going to usually be a better value for your dollar.
