Timbuk2 bags have no adequate padding in my experience, my 15" MacBook felt too vulnerable in the bag I tried, I went with Samsonite, the kombi and prowler are under $50 many places and easily compare to a Tumi bag any day.

I'm pretty sure many people have Macbooks... which also tend to be fairly consistent in their format and build, making it more relevant to more people than otherwise. I think you mostly succeeded in telling everyone how salty you are.

You can get a macbook too. Just don't carry it in one of these bags without a padded sleeve.

Yeah I have a Classic Messenger and I had to buy a padded sleeve to hold my laptop in the "laptop" compartment of the bag. That said it's still a good bag, useful and durable enough for the price.

My MACBOOK. Hey Everyone, I have a MACBOOK!
Great deals on great products. I have had 2 messenger bags in the past and had to buy another one...for $39, I will give one for a gift since it is such a great deal.

I have the Wingman. Great for travel. I never check a bag. Their other bags are indeed light on padding for LAPTOPS, but this one is pretty good.

I own the wingman duffle and really like the pack. It is a steal at $45. It holds a ton and is right up against the carryon limit. The top of the backpack straps are attached very close together which some people find uncomfortable. It works out fine for me but YMMV. I like how the pack is wider and more shallow than competing packs. This allows it to sit closer to your back and still able to walk down the airplane aisle easily.

I've owned 3 of these bags, 2 backpacks and 1 messenger bag, Timbuk2 bags are not worth the price at all... As mentioned they have zero padding, the straps are pretty uncomfortable and the awkward sizes never fit anything right. This is a case of "name brand" but useless functionality imo.

Got me sold on the Wingman Carry-On Travel Bag - Thanks!

Wingman dimensions are technically too big for some international flights, for example 53x40x20cm vs 55x35x25cm Air France. Seems like a good price though.
