Looking for thoughts here from those who had the I( Rakuten/Dell deal canceled. These specs look similar besides RAM.... or am I missing something...

Unless you're going to be using this a workstation PC, then no, 2400MHz is not slow for gaming. Will getting faster memory yield better FPS? Yes, but the the differences are not going to be more than a few frames. And if by "blower style" you mean like reference AMD housings, then it doesn't really look like it. It looks like your standard two-fan-on-heatsink design, but there's no mention of the GPU vendor, so I can't say for sure

If you are thinking of getting a CypberPower computer, why not go directly to the source. You can customize it to suit your specific needs, but be patient for a deal. Good luck.

I would beg to differ with you respondent. 2400 Mhz is very slow for RAM now. I would not settle for less than 3000 or even 3200 personally. Especially if you are looking to game with it. Seems the RAM speed and the Graphics card are mismatched. Fast, higher end CPU and GPU with lower tier RAM. Like I said in my prior post, I would go to www.CyberPowerPC.com [CyberPowerPC.com] directly.

Ah! Thank you for clarifying! I'm just trying to find a good deal and I dont see too many people posting deals on specific builds for custom build sites.

Also does not have a NVMe. That and the 2400 kills this deal for me. Fingers crossed for a good one soon

There are reports from several who have purchased this unit that the RAM is actually 3000 and included an Intel 660p NVMe SSD...check out the reviews on BB....

Second this! CyberPower has some great deals right now as they are using Black Friday pricing.

@1973hog, I believe some people prefer the additional buyer protection 3rd parties like amazon/best buy, etc offer with companies like cyberpower, etc. Lot of 3rd party companies make returns easier. I may be WRONG, but I don't THINK it usually comes at much of an increased cost either if at all, as direct companies like cyberpower need to list competitively in big markets like amazon/best buy. But yes, at the source, you get to customize exactly how you want.

Amazon's return policy is easy and their customer service is reachable through a variety of means. Whey deal with a smaller CS team than the ability to just ship it back (for free sometimes). Trade-offs you have to make, plus not counting the amount of AMZN gift cards some slickdeal readers have on their hands.
